A California man has waived a preliminary hearing in Custer County District Court and will be formally arraigned next Monday on several charges. 29 Year old Isreal Udave Ramirez faces various charges including assault and battery with means to produce death and endangering others while attempting to elude police. Court records show that on January 2nd, Ramirez allegedly got into a high speed chase with Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers near Clinton. During the incident, Ramirez reportedly ran one vehicle off the road. The pursuit ended at the 52 mile marker, west of Clinton, when troopers used a tactical vehicle intervention causing the truck Ramirez was driving to spin into the center median.
