Local Unemployment Rates

Unemployment rates were lower in many Oklahoma counties for the month of December compared to a year ago. Locally, Custer county fell by six-tenths of a percent to 2.1%. Beckham county fell by nine-tenths to 2.3% and Washita county also fell by nine-tenths to 2.6%. Dewey and Blaine counties had the second and third lowest unemployment rates in the state at 1.6 and 1.7% respectively.
